Is mold dangerous?
It can aggravate asthma and allergies, and some species produce irritants. Anything larger than a bathroom tile of visible growth, or any musty smell you can’t find, is worth a call.
Can I just bleach it?
Surface bleach on a hard, non-porous surface is fine. On drywall, wood or carpet it doesn’t reach the roots and the mold returns.
Does insurance cover mold?
Often yes when it results from a sudden, covered water event; usually not for long-term humidity or neglect. We’ll tell you which you have.
